Baron Davis writes to always line up your beard at your chin line to give your beard a sharper look. Nice. Shannon Elizabeth informs that American Airlines saved $40K in 1987 by eliminating one olive from each salad served in first class. Good to know.

The way the schedule worked Saturday night, every other Pac-10 team besides Washington State was off or done playing in time to watch the Oregon-USC game. And just imagine how much those coaches and players enjoyed seeing the Trojans, the bullies of the conference, get run around in circles by the Ducks.

The days of putting Florida and Tim Tebow first on your list and first in your hearts ended Saturday.

In an ugly weekend, the Gators fumbled four times and barely got by Arkansas on Saturday. Tebow was sacked six times and ran 27 times for 69 yards.

"I don't think we're on the same planet as we were last year," Florida coach Urban Meyer said.

Tafur: Overconfident Trojans stung again

Southern California dropped to 12th in the national rankings Sunday after losing to Washington 16-13 on Saturday in Seattle. The Trojans have lost to an unranked team the past four seasons, and one could argue that's the only reason they haven't won four consecutive national titles.
