Bernie Sanders is getting his own ice cream flavor. And the main ingredient is economic equality.
“Bernie’s Yearning” features a chocolate disc over mint ice cream to represent economic gains for the top 1%. The mint is the 99%. You’re supposed to break up the disc to spread evenly throughout. We’re not kidding.
Ben & Jerry’s co-founder Ben Cohen created the flavor. He’s a longtime Sanders supporter.
