Canada has asked the World Trade Organization to look into some of the United States' trade policies.
The document was filed on Dec. 20 and outlines multiple trade actions the U.S. has taken against other countries.
The claim mostly focuses on the U.S. practice of charging high tariffs to other countries for subsidizing their products or selling them cheap.
The complaint comes as Canada and the U.S. have been at odds over things like dairy, aircraft sales and lumber.
The U.S., Mexico and Canada are also attempting to finalize renegotiations of the North American Free Trade Agreement, or NAFTA, sometime in early 2018.
