The House Democratic Women's Working Group has invited members of Congress to make a statement by wearing black during President Trump's first State of the Union on Jan. 30.

The group says the move is meant to show support for the anti-sexual harassment #MeToo and #TimesUp campaigns.

On Sunday, Hollywood celebrities stood in solidarity with the movements by wearing black to the Golden Globes.

Allegations of sexual harassment or misconduct have swirled around Capitol Hill in recent months, with some lawmakers resigning or declining to run for re-election due to misconduct claims.
