The United Nations General Assembly will vote this week to call on the U.S. to revoke its recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
Palestinians will bring up the draft resolution for a vote. Earlier, the U.S. vetoed the same resolution in the U.N. Security Council, where it has permanent veto power.
The move would only be symbolic, though, and wouldn't have any actual ramifications for the U.S. or Israel. That vote is expected to take place Thursday.
