Just two days after the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program "deadline," one government department is reminding enrollees they're still protected.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security released a statement saying the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services is still accepting renewals. The statement also pointed out that "DACA recipients are not a priority or target group for arrest or removal."

As of right now, DACA's fate is still up in the air. The Senate has come up with several bipartisan measures but hasn't passed any of them.
