Time readers picked Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders for Person of the Year in an online poll.
Now, that's not the same as the official Time Person of the Year, which editors will announce Wednesday. The online poll is basically the people's choice.

Whereas the editors' pick ended up being "Ebola fighters."
Sanders won the 2015 readers' poll with a little more than 10 percent of the vote, topping human rights activist Malala Yousafzai, Pope Francis and President Obama.
