Another 2020 hopeful has thrown their hat into the ring.

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard said Friday she will run for president in 2020, making the announcement in an interview with CNN's Van Jones.

She said health care, criminal justice reform and climate change will be some of her main issues.

The Hawaii Democrat is currently serving her fourth term in the House.

An Iraq War veteran, Gabbard is the first American Samoan and the first Hindu member of Congress.

She joins a growing field of presidential hopefuls. Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren and former HUD Secretary Julian Castro have both formed exploratory committees.
