President Donald Trump is speaking out about Rear Adm. Ronny Jackson withdrawing his nomination to head the Department of Veterans Affairs.
The commander-in-chief called into "Fox & Friends" on Thursday morning and said he "saw where this was going."
Trump also said the allegations against Jackson are false.
As Newsy previously reported, the White House has given mixed messages regarding its support of Jackson. The White House said Tuesday that Trump would fight for his VA nominee. Hours before, Trump seemed to imply that Jackson should take himself out of consideration for the job.
The White House doctor is being accused of improper conduct, like drinking on the job and overprescribing medication.
