President Donald Trump is set to meet with lawmakers Wednesday to discuss gun legislation, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said Monday.
In the wake of the Parkland, Florida, school shooting, Trump has said he'd support raising the minimum age to purchase certain weapons and strengthening background checks. The National Rifle Association has come out against changing age restrictions.
And Sanders said Trump has asked the Justice Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to find a way to outlaw bump stocks through executive action.
