The fencing and the presence of the National Guard around the Capitol will be scaled back soon.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said it's because there is no known credible threat against Congress at the moment.
Pelosi said the recommendations were made by the acting House sergeant at arms and a Capitol security report.
