Starbucks is reportedly planning to lay off about 5 percent of its global corporate workforce.

According to several reports, the coffee giant's CEO Kevin Johnson announced the decision in a memo Tuesday.

The memo reportedly said 350 employees in marketing, creative, product, technology and store development will be affected by the layoffs.

Back in September, Starbucks said it would cut some of its corporate staff as part of "significant" organizational and leadership changes.

The company has struggled with stagnant sales for some time now. As a result, it's had to cut back on store growth and close underperforming stores.
