Uber's head of Human Resources has resigned following allegations she mishandled discrimination complaints.

Reuters says it contacted Uber Monday to discuss accusations by whistleblowers that Liane Hornsey, the company's HR chief, had systematically dismissed complaints of racial discrimination and made derogatory statements or threats against former Uber executives.

A law firm working with the whistleblowers confirmed some of the allegations, according to Reuters. It's not clear if Hornsey's departure is related to the Reuters' investigation. In an email, Hornsey said she had been considering resigning for awhile.
