Billionaire Warren Buffett says his company got a $29 billion boost from the recent tax code change.
Buffett made the statement in his annual letter to his shareholders. He says Berkshire Hathaway's total net worth grew by about $65 billion in 2017 but that only $36 billion of it was because of anything Berkshire had done.
The annual letter is a way for Buffett to check in with investors, explain the state of the company and dispense investing advice.
