Need A Zombie? Ride-Hailing Company Lyft Has Your Back

Lyft is delivering free, on-demand zombies to select locations the day before Halloween.

What's Halloween without zombies? It's nothing, that's what.

"They're coming," said Michonne in AMC's "The Walking Dead."

Ride-hailing service Lyft is fully aware of the importance of zombies, and the company wants to help out.

"Introducing a first-of-its-kind zombie experience. ... It's designed for all the important moments in your life, delivered by a friendly handler right to your doorstep," said the narrator in an advertisement from Lyft.

If you're in New York or San Francisco on Oct. 30 — and for some reason want to be closer to the undead — you can get a zombie dispatched to a location of your choice for free between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.

And it's all just as ridiculous as it sounds. After you request a zombie, you'll meet up with its "handler" who will unchain the undead creature and let it wreak havoc on your unsuspecting victims. (Video via Lyft)

Of course, as Time points out, you'll want to claim your zombified friend as quickly as you can

Denver Nicks writes, "If there's anything Hollywood has taught us in the last decade, it's that demand for zombies is extremely high, so you’ll have to act fast if you want to summon your very own walking dead." (Video via Columbia Pictures / "Night of the Living Dead")
