Thinking of a career change? Here are a couple you might want to take a harder look at. 

Career review website Glassdoor has published its 25 best jobs for the new year based on the number of available positions, salary, and what it calls career opportunity ratings. (Video via Glassdoor)

Taking third is solutions architect –– an IT position tasked with designing solutions to unique problems. It actually boasts the highest salary and number of openings among the top three jobs. (Video via Inside Jobs)

You might dread doing your own taxes, but managing others' is the second best career of the year. With a median salary of $108,000, we could maybe get behind tax season. 

And the No. 1 job of 2016: data scientist. It usually requires a background in computer science, statistics, analytics and more –– so it's likely worth the almost $117,000 that comes with it. (Video via Glassdoor)
