Charles Benson

Senior National Political Correspondent

“I fell in love with US history and American politics and wanted a chance to witness the first draft of today's democracy. My original goal was to cover political conventions and interview presidents and presidential candidates. I've now reported from 12 national political conventions - including the 2024 RNC in my hometown of Milwaukee.” – Charles Benson
