Emily is a producer for the consumer franchise "Don’t Waste Your Money." She is based in Cincinnati, Ohio. By interviewing industry experts and contributing to reports related to the economy and personal finances, she fulfills her passion for helping people improve their financial situations.
Since starting her journalism career in 2011, Emily has worked for many different brands at Scripps. Before joining Scripps News, she was a writer and producer for Simplemost. She also served as a producer for WTVG in Toledo, Ohio and WCPO in Cincinnati, Ohio,
Emily’s journalism career has led her to receive a nomination for the Ohio Valley Regional Emmy Awards in the Continuing Coverage category and win the Communicator Awards’ Award of Distinction for the special “Caught in the Ropes.”
Emily holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism from Ohio University.
