And, along with a massive 42-song set, concert goers were treated to something the notoriously private couple has never revealed before.
During a rendition of the hit "Young Forever," video clips from Bey and Jay's wedding day played on the big screen over the stage. This is the first time the couple has shown footage of their April 2008 nuptials. (Via Instagram / gotstyles)
And later, while Queen Bey belted out "Halo," home video of the proud mother cradling newborn daughter Blue Ivy in a hospital bed played in the otherwise dark Sun Life Stadium. (Via Instagram /keishaervin)

An audience member told Us Weekly, "It was incredible. Jay Z said [we’re] 'celebrating love tonight' and you could definitely see the love between him and Beyonce on stage. Their chemistry is amazing."
That chemistry powered Bey and J through their massive set list, which included songs from just about every era of their respective careers.
Some of the highlights — Beyonce filling in for Justin Timberlake on "Holy Grail," a tribute to Michael Jackson during "Love On Top" and Jay Z's new remix of his wife's track "Partition." (Via YouTube / singersroom)
A writer for MTV summed it all up: "How did a pageant girl from Texas fall in love with a boy from Brooklyn’s gritty Marcy Projects? If Jay Z and Beyonce seemed eager to explain why it all made sense in this exhaustive spectacular, it’s probably because they know they’ve got something better than good."
Ah, to be crazy in love. Mr. and Mrs. Carter's 16-date tour will stop next at Cincinnati's Great American Ball Park Saturday. (Via Sony BMG Music Entertainment / Beyonce)
