French police announced Monday they arrested more than a dozen people in connection to Kim Kardashian West's jewelry heist.

Police say five armed men dressed as police officers robbed Kardashian West in October. Two masked men tied her up in her Paris apartment, and the crew took more than $10 million in jewelry.

DNA left at the scene, including at least one fingerprint, led police to 16 suspects.

The arrests took place simultaneously across five French cities. The suspects can be held in custody without charges for up to four days.

Kardashian West took a monthslong break from social media after the traumatic event, only returning to her accounts earlier this month. She spoke out on the robbery for the first time in a newly released trailer for her family's reality show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians."
