One of Hollywood's top couples apparently is no more. In an exclusive article posted late Tuesday afternoon, People confirmed Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have split after 10 years of marriage.

"Excuse me; I just wanted to get your name," Affleck asked as his character Matt Murdock in the 2003 film "Daredevil."

The two co-starred in 2003's "Daredevil." Although both were in separate high-profile relationships at the time, with Garner married and Affleck engaged, the two were soon dating.

Since then, they have appeared to be the definition of the happy couple. They have three children, and People's sources credited Garner with helping Affleck balance his home life and reinvigorate his career.

One of the few rough spots appeared to be Affleck's gambling. The soon-to-be "Batman v Superman" star was banned from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas last year and accused of counting cards.

Also late Tuesday, the couple's representative confirmed People's report. A statement read, in part, that they were getting a divorce:

"We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time."
