ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos has tested positive for the coronavirus.
Stephanopoulos revealed the diagnosis Monday on "Good Morning America," saying he's not surprised given his wife, actress Ali Wentworth, was diagnosed earlier this month. He said he believes he's "one of those cases that are basically asymptomatic," as the only potential symptoms he's experienced so far was "some lower back pain ... and a diminished sense of smell."
Wentworth, on the other hand, has been under self-quarantine with symptoms including a high fever, shortness of breath and body aches. Stephanopoulos said his wife is "doing much, much better" and "is going on her fifth day now with no fever."
