Authorities Are 'Suspicious' About The Death Of Actress Natalie Wood

Natalie Wood's 1981 drowning was ruled an accident, but new information is changing the story.

Investigators have deemed the mysterious drowning death of actress Natalie Wood "suspicious."

Wood, a three-time Oscar-nominated actress, drowned in 1981 after going out on a yacht with her husband Robert Wagner and fellow actor Christopher Walken. The captain was the only other person on the boat. Wood's death was ruled an accident.

But in 2011, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's department took another look at the case. Now, they say they're in touch with witnesses who contradict the story the three men told on the boat that night. It's not clear who the witnesses are.

LA County Sheriff's Department Lt. John Corina told CBS' "48 Hours" that Wagner is a person of interest in the case, since he was the last person who saw Wood before she died.
