America. Land of the free ... home of the junkyard

There are some interesting spots in rural America that might be worth scoping out — if you're into junkyard museums or train graveyards, that is.

Let's start with Old Car City, located on more than 30 acres of forest land in Georgia.

It's the world's largest known classic car junkyard. It started as a car dealership in the 1930s. Eddie McDaniel's parents passed it down to him, and he figured out he could make a living just by charging people an entry fee.

But if cars don't rev your engine, how about trains?

These trains were found by photographer Seph Lawless in the woods around the Ohio-Pennsylvania border. What is it with creepy abandoned things in the middle of the woods?

As Newsy's partners at WEWS report, no one knows why the trains were put there.

Lawless is actually known for his knack for exploring creepy, abandoned things. Earlier this year, he found an abandoned pet cemetery. Make sure to check out his Facebook page for more of his work.

So the moral of our story? Wander deep into the woods, and you never know what you'll find.
