While fresh-from-the-UK Late Late Show host James Corden says he's a bit taken aback by all the U.S.'s celebrity media, he paused briefly on his latest show to praise Bruce Jenner's interview with ABC's Diane Sawyer.

"So many of us will never know what it's like to go through such a thing, the life he's been trapped in. ... We thank you Bruce, we really do, for sharing so openly and so honestly," Corden said

Jenner confirmed his transition to being a woman in an interview with ABC that aired over the weekend. Jenner, a former track and field Olympian, told Sawyer, "For all intents and purposes, I am a woman," but asked Sawyer to continue using he/him pronouns for the time being.

While Jenner has received plenty of praise from celebrities since the interview first aired, this maybe one of the most vocal ones.

Jenner is now expected to be the subject of a new E! show about his transition and journey as a transgender woman. Show execs say it's about Jenner finally living the life he feels he was born to live. (Video via E! / "Keeping Up With The Khardashians"
