Lin-Manuel Miranda has had some pretty successful award seasons. Between the success of Disney's "Moana" and the cultural phenomenon that was "Hamilton," the man has had a nice run. So nice, in fact, that he's on the cusp of achieving the rare EGOT. He already got the boxes checked on Emmy, Grammy and Tony. All that's left? The Oscar.
And he might just do it. The Oscar nominations have been announced, and he's up for Best Original Song for "How Far I'll Go" from "Moana."

He seems to be pretty excited and a little preoccupied:
And then Buzzetti called me and then I called Vanessa.
I am very very grateful.

If Miranda wins, he'll be the youngest person to achieve the EGOT. Not bad for a 37-year-old.
