Hip-hop artist Big Sean and singer Jhené Aiko have collaborated before, but not quite like this.
The artists teased what's thought to be a surprise project under the name Twenty88. What that means is anyone's guess.
So far, promotion for the project includes artwork and two teaser videos — one that's safe for work and another that's arguably not safe for work.
Outside of that, details about the project are scant. In both videos, we hear snippets of very ethereal-sounding music, but we still haven't heard full tracks from this newly formed duo.
We've seen Big Sean and Jhené Aiko act a fool together. They hammed it up as an elderly couple taking shots at a dive bar after escaping a senior citizen prom in Big Sean's video for "I Know."
But fans could be the real fools come Friday. The project, if there is one, is expected to drop on April Fools' Day. So, word to the wise: "Beware, beware, beware," Big Sean and Jhené Aiko sing.
