Late actor Philip Seymour Hoffman has left his entire estate to his long-time girlfriend and mother of his three children, Mimi O'Donnell.

Us Weekly reports Hoffman's will also has strict instructions about his 10-year-old son, Cooper.

'Hoffman's will asks for his 10-year-old son to be raised in Manhattan so he could experience the culture, arts, and architecture that the city provides.'

If not Manhattan, Hoffman asked for his son to live in Chicago or San Francisco. And if that wasn't possible either, New York Daily News reports he hoped his son would at least visit the cities twice a year.

Conspicuously missing from that list: Los Angeles, which TMZ notes is interesting as Hoffman spent so much of his time working in Hollywood.

The will was filed in 2004, and Cooper is also set to inherit a trust fund when he turns 30. (Via Wikimedia Commons / Georges Biard)

Hoffman died of an apparent drug overdose on February 2, 2014. He and O'Donnell became estranged last year. Extra reports some of the turbulence in their relationship could have been about drugs, and according to diary entries, an alleged love triangle.

'It was not only drugs, but also the alleged affair that led O'Donnell to kick Hoffman out of their home.' (Via Extra

The Huffington Post says he couple met in 1999 on the set of a play called "In Arabia, We'd All Be Kings."

'Hoffman's two younger children had not been born at the time he wrote his will, and thus are not mentioned.'
