Lady Gaga has announced a global broadcast in partnership with the World Health Organization and Global Citizen. The "One World: Together at Home" concert will celebrate health care workers on the front line of the coronavirus pandemic.

The pop singer said she has already helped raise more than $35 million for personal protective equipment and other resources for health care workers; testing kits; and research development; among other COVID-19 response efforts. There will be more fundraising leading up to the event, but Lady Gaga said once the broadcast goes live, people should put their wallets away and just enjoy the show.

The star-studded special will feature John Legend, Billie Eilish, Kacey Musgraves, Elton John, Burna Boy and other artists performing alongside Lady Gaga. Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert will host the event, and other big names including Idris Elba, David Beckham and Priyanka Chopra Jonas will also attend.

Lady Gaga told MSNBC, "This is not just a historical moment, but this is a cultural moment, and there's an opportunity during this cultural moment to harness kindness."

The two-hour special will air April 18.
