Jacob is a White House reporter and producer based in Washington, D.C. His reporting beat is national politics and policy. Jacob has covered the Biden administration and the 2024 presidential campaigns, focusing on how federal politics impacts the public.
Jacob previously served in the News White House Unit at NBC. While working as a correspondent for The Wyoming Truth, he received the Paul Miller Washington Reporter Fellowship from the National Press Foundation. In 2023, he was awarded the National Press Club’s Sandy Huma Memorial Award for Excellence in Political Journalism.
In addition to Scripps News, he has been featured in The Washington Post, New Republic, and Vox. He received his bachelor’s degree from University of Pennsylvania and his master’s degree from Fels Institute of Government.
