Jason is an international correspondent for Scripps News, with experience covering global conflicts. He is based in Washington, D.C. but reports from locations around the world, with notable assignments in Ukraine, Israel, and Haiti.
Jason’s in-depth reporting from Ukraine earned him honors such as the Deadline Club Award, the New York Press Club Award and the 2024 David Bloom Award from RTCA for excellence in enterprise reporting.
An alum of CNN, Bloomberg News, and the Wall Street Journal, Jason brings a signature storytelling style, and a pioneering application of new video technologies to Scripps News' coverage of the world's most significant events.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Georgetown University.
