Kellan is a senior producer operating out of Washington, D.C. She primarily produces, but also reports, writes and edits Scripps News’ political content. Since joining Scripps News, Kellan has most notably covered Congress as well as healthcare and marijuana policy.
Kellan’s career spans over ten years, starting at The Washington Times in 2013. Before joining Scripps News, she also covered politics for Circa. Kellan then went on to be one of Scripps News’ first-ever White House correspondents. In this role, she spearheaded the coverage of the COVID-19 pandemic and the response from the Trump administration.
Kellan received her bachelor’s degree in journalism and international affairs from James Madison University.
