Jazz Legend Al Jarreau Has Died

Grammy Award-winning jazz singer Al Jarreau has died at age 76.

Jazz and rhythm and blues singer Al Jarreau died Sunday morning, according to sources close to him. He was 76 years old.

Jarreau received seven Grammys over the course of his career. He was known for mixing jazz, R&B and soul music.

The singer had been hospitalized in Los Angeles for exhaustion, ending his 50-year, nearly nonstop tour.

He is survived by his wife and son.
