Swedish DJ and producer Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii, has died. He was 28.
According to a statement from his publicist, he was found dead Friday in Oman. The details surrounding his death are still unclear.
Avicii was best-known for electronic dance hits like "Wake Me Up" and "You Make Me." He won several honors for his music, including a pair of MTV Video Music Awards and a Billboard Music Award.
In 2016, Avicii said he'd stop performing live because of health problems. His health suffered for several years, partly due to excessive drinking.
Avicii's publicist says his family is "devastated" and asked that their privacy be respected.
