Melania Trump leaves for Africa Monday on her first major solo international trip as first lady.

She's scheduled to travel to Ghana, Malawi, Kenya and Egypt to promote her "Be Best" campaign.

"When I launched Be Best, it was with the goal of combating some of the issues that children face today by shining a spotlight on successful programs and organizations that teach children the tools and skills needed for emotional, social and physical well-being," Trump said.

The U.S. Agency for International Development, USAID, is currently working within each of the four countries and helped coordinate her trip. Trump's visit will focus largely on health care for mothers and children, nutrition, and education.
