House Republicans planned a vote on a short-term spending bill Tuesday evening.

The proposed bill would fund the government through March 23, increase defense spending for a year and fund community health centers for two years.

The budget bill doesn't touch the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program (DACA), and it doesn't include additional border security or funding for a border wall.

House GOP members seem confident the bill will pass. If it does, it heads to the Senate next.
