President Donald Trump's former attorney and fixer Michael Cohen testified in total for nearly 24 hours on Capitol Hill this week.
Only one of his congressional hearings was public, but Cohen made some bombshell accusations against the president in front of the House oversight committee. He accused the president of crimes and racism and revealed new clues to the special counsel investigation being conducted by Robert Mueller — all while Republicans called Cohen's own character and criminal past into question.
In this episode of "The Why," Newsy dedicated nearly half an hour to bringing context to Cohen's testimony.
"The Why" airs Mondays through Thursdays from 7-9 p.m. ET on the Newsy channel. Click here to check local listings.
