Brooks is the proud owner of a Tesla Model S P85D, which can go from 0-60 MPH in just 3.2 seconds. He decided to take people for a surprising drive.

Meet Brooks. He looks like your everyday guy, except for the fact he drives a Tesla ... and likes to scare the heck out of his friends by showing them its "Insane Mode."

Our favorite was this part, when his daughter's phone goes flying because of the speed. Look at that! It gets stuck to the seat!

"The acceleration of the car kept the phone planted against the back of the seat and it slowly kind of fell down," Brooks told us on Skype.

Brooks, who is the CEO of DragTimes.com, was driving his Tesla Model S P85D.

Which is a pretty big deal in the car world. It can park itself and go from 0 to 60 in 3.2 seconds.

"So I've got the button right here, you can see it says 'Insane.' ... When you hit the button, you can change it from 'Sport' to 'Insane.' The 'Insane' mode basically means that when you hit the accelerator just like any other car, it's gonna give you full power. You don't press the button and the car launches," Brooks said.

Other outlets have taken notice of the car's "Insane" capabilities. And, of course, the video of Brooks scaring the bejesus out of people.

We're not sure if we'd want to be one of Brooks' passengers ...
