Google's parent company is reportedly considering buying Twitter.

CNBC reported a handful of other tech companies are also interested in buying, including Salesforce — that's according to unnamed sources.

There's been speculation about a possible Twitter sale for a while now amid less-than-stellar revenue growth. This latest report hasn't been confirmed by either Twitter, Salesforce or Google's parent company, Alphabet.

Recode estimated a selling price for the company could be between $18 billion and $30 billion.
