Instagram announced it will once again prioritize newer content. So newer posts are more likely to appear higher up in your news feed.

But a spokesperson says the social media app will not return to the chronological feed it got rid of in 2016.

Instagram also says it's testing a "new posts" button that lets users manually refresh their feed.

In a blog post, the company said it will announce more changes during the next few months.
