According to a story from The Washington Post, executives from Amazon, Google, Facebook, Intel and 34 other major U.S. companies are expected to attend.

The Post says the Trump administration wants to discuss how the government can alter regulations to advance AI and fund research into the technology.

Several media outlets say a big topic at the summit could be how AI might affect American jobs.

The Post says the event is scheduled for Thursday.
