"The big news is I'm going to be on GMA now" "Yes, very exciting."

"So, are you going to do it?"

"I don't know. I read the paper that I am."

Now, don't worry, fans of Kelly & Michael's chit chat. He'll only be joining GMA for part-time duties and staying on the daily talk show for full-time duties. People reports he'll likely appear on GMA between 7 and 8:15 a.m.

TMZechoes that, saying he'll appear about three to four times a week and cover a wide array of topics. The site notes Strahan will help give George Stephanopoulos, who's currently the only full-time, male anchor on the show, a "testosterone-assist".

Still, other media outlets disagree, saying Strahan's addition isn't necessarily directly related to former GMA host Josh Elliott's recent departure.

"'Good Morning America', as you know, has lost two male cast members in the past few months with Sam Champion to The Weather Channel and just recently, Josh Elliott to NBC Sports. But, talks with Strahan were reportedly in the works before the departure of Elliott." (Via KGO-TV

Strahan joked Wednesday that he'll probably be worn out most days, especially during football season. Strahan also partakes in Fox's NFL pregame show which he's also expected to keep doing, even with this new workload. (ViaFox Sports

Outlets say Strahan's addition to GMA won't affect the current, full-time anchoring lineup. After Elliott's departure, ABC announced Amy Robach will help anchor GMA full-time.
