Conor McGregor appears to be fanning the flames regarding a potential boxing match against Floyd Mayweather Jr.

On Sunday, the MMA fighter shared an unofficial fight poster on his Twitter account, featuring himself and Mayweather with the caption "MMA Vs Boxing."

McGregor was pulled from UFC 200 after his retiring-then-unretiring stunt a few weeks ago. McGregor said he "retired" over a beef with the UFC about promotional demands for the fight.

Shortly thereafter, in a seemingly unrelated admission, Mayweather said he'd been approached with offers to come back to boxing — and he's at least listening.

"You just never know, but right now I'm happy being on side. ... If I came back, it'd have to be a nine-figure payday and probably a championship fight," Mayweather told Showtime's Jim Gray

Mayweather wouldn't exactly be the easiest opponent for McGregor to start his boxing career with. Money Mayweather retired 49-0.

But if their social media accounts are any indication, both fighters love a good paycheck.

Fox Sports writes, "A Mayweather-McGregor bout would destroy every single pay-per-view record."

The McGregor-less UFC 200 will take place July 9. No dates have been announced for the potential McGregor-Mayweather fight.
