Katy Perry gaited her way into the Super Bowl halftime show like a "Dark Horse."
OK, so she wasn't THAT sneaky, if it is true, we all kinda saw it coming, right?
Billboard said sources have confirmed that Perry is set to play the 2015 halftime show.
Although Katy hasn't mentioned it yet on Twitter, nor confirmed the news in a statement.
The other two Superbowl rumored contenders were Coldplay and Rihanna.
But Rihanna turned into a likely no-go after her very public confrontation with the NFL and CBS.
The singer got angry when her song "Run This Town" was pulled from a broadcast after the NFL suspended player Ray Rice over his domestic assault incident. The apparent connection was her history with domestic violence.
And Perry's fans seemed "Wide Awake" over the news, blowin' up Twitter. One was even hoping for a wardrobe malfunction. Get your head outta the gutter.
Although, if she is the halftime queen in 2015, you better bet your bottom dollar she didn't pay to be there.
PERRY VIA ESPN: "I would be honored, of course, but I have let them know that I am not the type of girl who would pay to play the Superbowl."
So, if all this is true, maybe that means that whole "pay-to-play" idea from the NFL was a rumor.
