Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is known as "Beast Mode" for being a monster on the field, and at least one defender can attest that his nickname checks out.
"Tackling today, I broke my helmet," Carolina Panthers safety Roman Harper said.
That looks headache-inducing. Carolina Panthers safety Roman Harper must've had a pretty brutal collision with Beast Mode to actually crack his helmet.
Harper and the Panthers were able to best Beast Mode, who was kept to only 20 rushing yards and 15 receiving yards. The Panthers won 31-24.
Harper will have a chance to test the structural integrity of a new helmet when the Panthers face off against the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC Championship game Sunday, Jan. 24.
