Hours after Papa John's announced it's ending its sponsorship of the NFL, the league found a replacement — Pizza Hut.
The company said Wednesday it will be the official pizza sponsor of the NFL starting next season.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said in a statement, "Pizza Hut has the creativity we are looking for in a partner and we look forward to working together with them to make the at-home NFL experience more exciting than ever."
A source familiar with the agreement told CNN Pizza Hut's deal will last four years and that it's worth more than the Papa John's deal.
Papa John's announced Tuesday it's severing ties with the NFL in the middle of its contract. The pizza chain said the decision was mutual.
Last year, Papa John's blamed the league's response to protests during the national anthem for a decline in sales.
