The Boston Red Sox are World Series champions once again.
Boston secured its fourth World Series win in 15 years Sunday night, beating the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-1 in Game 5.
As ESPN notes, the Red Sox now have a total of nine World Series titles under their belts — tied for third-most of all major league teams.
And fans couldn't be happier about it. Almost immediately after the game, crowds flooded the streets of Boston to celebrate.
The big win caps off a dominant season for the Red Sox, especially in the postseason. Boston only lost three games total in October.
