Two NFL head coaches who were hospitalized for serious medical episodes within days of each other are finally returning to their teams.

The Broncos' John Fox is back in Denver after undergoing a heart valve replacement on November 4. His heart issue came about while golfing during the team's bye week. He's expected to coach the Broncos December 8th against Tennessee.  (Via Fox Sports

Kubiak returned a week after the scare, but was forced by doctors to coach from a booth atop the stadium. This week, he hopes to be back on the actual sideline again.

Speaking with media earlier this week, Kubiak admitted he isn't fully back to his never-ending work schedule, but said, "I have every intention of being on the field ... I hope so. I think I have probably a better chance than I had last weekend." (Via Sports Illustrated

While a media release from the Broncos stated Fox has been cleared by doctors to return to the team, but won't start coaching duties until next Monday.

The team said, "While no formal restrictions will be placed on his workload upon return, he will continue to be monitored by our medical staff as his well-being remains our No. 1 priority." (Via NFL

It's still not clear if Fox be on the sideline or in the booth when his team plays the Titans in Week 14. The Broncos take on the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday while Gary Kubiak and the Houston Texans will play the Patriots.
