He's one of the Army's “15 Most Wanted” fugitives and he's been on the run since 1977. Now, 37 years later, James Robert Jones has been found and captured. KSHB reports.

Law enforcement reportedly watched the man's home and followed him to work. Jones didn't try to fight or run away when he was approached, instead he told law enforcement — quote — “I knew it would catch up to me one day.”
WTVJ reports the 59-year-old man was convicted for premeditated murder and aggravated assault. He was serving a 23-year prison sentence but escaped from the maximum-security prison only a few years after incarceration.
Authorities tracked down Jones by running his prison photo through their facial recognition database. That matched up with a fake driver's license Jones had been using — he went by the name Bruce Walter Keith. (Via KSHB)
According to the Kansas City Star, U.S. Marshals ran Jones's fingerprints when they arrested him — it showed a positive match.
Jones is currently in a Florida jail. The U.S. Army says it will take custody of the man and extradite him back to Kansas.
