3-year-old Corbin Durant was born with heart defects, but that's just one thing on the list of problems for the toddler. He also can't blink.

"He was born with a condition that is shrinking his brain, affecting his speech muscle movement and even blinking. Doctors still don't know exactly what is wrong." (Via ABC)

WLS-TV reports the Portland, Oregon boy isn't without hope. The family is planning to fly to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota.

"Even though they're really not sure how they're going to be able to pay for his $20,000 treatment. ... His parents are saying that they hope the Mayo clinic can provide an overall diagnosis of his condition."

Despite his severe health problems, Durant is still a happy-go-lucky toddler who loves Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Still, the family worries about the money.

"We're trying. We've been doing some fundraisers. We've been collecting cans and bottles and we did a car wash this summer."

As of Monday, January 6, the family had raised more than $11,000, and that total was climbing by the minute. (Via GoFundMe)

Durant has had his fair share of doctors appointments as well. In the first ten months of his life, he had 86. Now, he has 10 doctors he regularly sees. (Via American Live Wire)

The family hopes that with a proper diagnosis, Durant can live a full life and they can slow down his condition.
